WE SUFFERED 5 WEEKS
OF A FREEZING COLD HOUSE THIS WINTER.
5 WEEKS OF NO HEAT & THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS
OF OUR OWN MONEY SPENT ON 8 HVAC VISITS
BEFORE DUNKIRK WOULD HONOR THEIR WARRANTY
& PAY FOR A NEW BOILER TO BE PUT IN!
BUYER BEWARE
IN THE END, DUNKIRK FINALLY HONORED THEIR WARRANTY but
WHEN AND AT WHAT COST?!!!
DID THEY REIMBURSE OUR COSTS FOR FUTILE ATTEMPTS AT REPAIR?
NO THEY DID NOT.
The toll was an enormous amount of stress, worry, danger, discomfort, uncertainty, hazard, THOUSANDS of DOLLARS lost on service appointments, loss of work due to having to be home for 8 lengthy appointments, cost of alternative heating to prevent health & house risks—
ALL AT OUR EXPENSE
SO THAT DUNKIRK COULD DELAY OR AVOID HONORING THEIR WARRANTY AND FINALLY REPLACE THEIR FAULTY EQUIPMENT!
OUR EXPERIENCE WOULD HAVE BEEN EVEN WORSE WERE IT NOT FOR THE
EXCELLENT HVAC COMPANY THAT TRIED TO HELP US IN OUR TERRIBLE SITUATION.
THEY WERE KIND & TIMELY AS POSSIBLE BUT THEIR HANDS WERE TIED DUE TO
(1) DUNKIRK HAVING CRAZY LONG WAIT TIMES FOR THEIR SCARCE REPLACEMENT PARTS
(PARTS THAT INEVITABLY PROVED USELESS FOR FIXING THE BOILER ANYWAY!) &
(2) DUNKIRK INSISTING THAT HVAC GO BACK & TRY XY or Z YET AGAIN (at OUR EXPENSE!)
IN ORDER JUST TO DELAY, TO TRY TO AVOID STANDING BY THEIR PRODUCT.
an HvAC Co can only do so much
when the Manufacturer (DUNKIRK)
HAS MADE A SHODDY PRODUCT.
